Investor Lead Hub provides manual investor research. Depending on the scope you choose, this can include identifying relevant investors (such as venture capital firms, angel investors, family offices, private equity firms and strategic investors), verifying their investment focus and activity, researching decision-makers and delivering an organised investor list.
We are a research provider. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, placement agent or fundraising intermediary, and we do not offer financial, legal or investment advice.
02Eligibility and Use of the Website
You must be at least 18 years old and use the website for lawful business purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the website in a way that breaks any law or regulation.
- Try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or its admin areas.
- Send spam, malware or any harmful code through our forms.
- Copy, scrape or republish website content without our written permission.
03Proposals, Orders and Scope
Each project starts with a consultation or brief. We then confirm the scope, deliverables, timeline and price in a proposal, quote or invoice (the “Order”). The Order and these Terms together form the agreement between us. If they conflict, the Order takes priority.
Work outside the agreed scope, or changes you request after work has started, may involve extra fees and a revised timeline, which we will agree with you first.
04Fees and Payment
- Fees are set out in your Order and are payable in the currency stated.
- Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due in advance or according to the milestones in your Order.
- We may pause work if a payment is overdue.
- Fees do not include taxes, which will be added where required by law.
05Your Responsibilities
To help us deliver accurate research, you agree to:
- Give us accurate and complete information about your company, sector, stage and fundraising goals.
- Respond to our questions within a reasonable time.
- Make sure you have the right to share any materials you send us, such as your pitch deck.
- Contact investors in a lawful, professional way and follow all applicable laws, including anti-spam, data protection and securities laws.
06Deliverables and Permitted Use
When you have paid in full, you may use the investor lists and research we deliver for your own company’s fundraising. You may not resell, sublicense, publish or share the deliverables with third parties, other than your own advisers working on your raise, without our written consent.
Our research methods, templates, tools and internal databases remain our property.
07No Guarantee of Funding
We work hard to find investors who are a strong fit for your business, but investment decisions are made by investors alone. We do not guarantee that you will receive meetings, replies, term sheets or any funding as a result of our services. Investor details can change over time, and while we verify information carefully, we cannot guarantee that every detail will stay accurate after delivery.
08Revisions, Cancellations and Refunds
- If a delivered record clearly does not match the agreed criteria, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will review and replace it where appropriate.
- You may cancel a project before research starts for a full refund of any amount paid, minus any third-party costs already incurred.
- Because research is custom work, fees for work already completed are non-refundable once research has started, unless we have failed to deliver what was agreed.
09Confidentiality
We keep the details of your raise, your pitch deck and your business information confidential and use them only to deliver your project. You agree to keep our pricing, proposals and methods confidential. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA on request. Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to Investor Lead Hub and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.
11Third-Party Services and Links
The website links to, and our services may use, third-party tools such as Calendly and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of third-party websites or services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
12Limitation of Liability
The website and its content are provided “as is” for general information. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, funding opportunities, data or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific project the claim relates to.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for any claims, losses or costs arising from your misuse of our deliverables, your breach of these Terms or your outreach to investors in breach of applicable laws.
14Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or end access to the website or our services if you seriously breach these Terms. Either party may end a project in writing if the other party seriously breaches the agreement and does not fix it within 14 days of being asked. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as confidentiality, payment, permitted use and limitation of liability, will continue after termination.
15Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Investor Lead Hub is established, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law of your country requires otherwise. Before starting any formal dispute, both parties agree to try to resolve the issue in good faith by contacting each other.
16Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The version in force when you place an Order applies to that Order.
