• Contact details such as your name, work email address and phone number when you fill in our contact or investor search forms.
• Company information such as your company name, website, LinkedIn profile, country, industry, funding stage, target investors and the amount you are raising.
• Documents you choose to upload, such as a pitch deck, and any details you include in your messages to us.
• Booking details you provide when you schedule a consultation through our booking partner, Calendly.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit, recorded in standard server logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies as described in the “Cookies” section below.

02How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Respond to enquiries and send you the information you asked for.
• Scope, prepare and deliver investor research projects and custom investor lists.
• Schedule and hold consultations.
• Send service-related messages such as confirmations, proposals, invoices and project updates.
• Keep the website secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix technical problems.
• Understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• Meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your pitch deck or company details for any purpose other than serving you.

• Contract: to take steps you request before entering into an agreement and to deliver the services you buy.
• Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve our business and website, and to reply to business enquiries, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
• Consent: where we ask for it, for example for optional cookies or marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: where we must keep or disclose information by law.

04How We Share Information

We share personal information only when it is needed, and only with:

• Service providers who help us operate, such as our website hosting provider, email delivery providers and our scheduling tool (Calendly). They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
• Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised, merged or sold, subject to this policy.

We never share your raise details with investors or third parties without your instruction.

05Confidentiality of Your Raise

Fundraising information is sensitive. Pitch decks, financial details and project information you share with us are treated as confidential, accessed only by team members working on your project, and are not disclosed to investors or anyone else unless you ask us to. We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before you share any material.

06Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

• Essential cookies that are needed for the website to work, for example to keep administrators logged in or to protect forms from spam.
• Analytics cookies (if enabled) that help us understand how visitors use the website, using aggregated information.

Pages may also load content from third parties, such as fonts from Google Fonts and the Calendly booking widget, and these providers may receive technical data such as your IP address. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the website may not work properly if you do.

07Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are normally deleted within 24 months. Client and project records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Uploaded documents can be deleted on request once a project is complete.

08Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted access to project files and secure hosting. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and will act quickly if a problem occurs.

09International Transfers

We work with founders and service providers around the world, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to make sure it receives an adequate level of protection, for example by using providers that offer appropriate contractual safeguards.

10Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to delete your information.
• Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.

• Complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Our website contains links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and Calendly. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites, so please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

12Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
